Okay you know I am a big fan of Rapid Weaver!
The folks over at Yabdab have a great new plugin for RW, it is call Cartloom! (yes they have given us Formloom, Payloom, & Goggleloom).
What cartloom is another shopping cart service (yes I said service) with a plugin for RW. The service will be $9.95 per month starting in January 2010, for now it is free (since it is a beta phase) it is a nifty service. You can setup your products via slick web interface or via the cartloom plugin (which is free and they have a stacks version as well) in rapid weaver! It is way nice. http://www.cartloom.com Cartloom is a 5 star product and should be considered by everyone.
Another contender is RapidCart plugin http://www.omniidea.it/rapidcart/
It is a nice idea and pretty well executed, however the developers rely on the RW users for most of the testing and debugging of the plugin ( I have been testing RC since the first release, got a free license but not allowed to upgrade it to release 2 of the product which I have tested as well), with little to no reward for the time it takes to debug their plugin. Over all I can’t recommend RapidCart since the support is not quite what I feel is needed. Also the developers seem to not be willing to support those who do a lot of their work for them at no cost. The Cost of this plugin $24.95 Euros making it one of the most expensive plugins for RapidWeaver!
If you view the headers their download links send to the browser, you will be able to view the location of files being sold.

Can a RapidCart page be placed in a block on a Blocks page with the BlocksBox theme?
Blocks supports only few kinds of pages.
Please report your question to YourHead developers in order to add support for RapidCart pages.
This is a typical response from the RC development team.. rarely do they step up for support..
Actually, you guys should contact Isaiah at Yourhead, he will give you the code to implement this. He updated blocks a while ago this way just so he wouldn’t have to keep updating Blocks everytime a new plugin came out.
Hope this helps!
